What’s cooler than tanks crushing cars?

How about tanks firing big guns for gunnery training?  Or precision maneuvering huge tanks?

It all happened June 6-8, during the 2018 Strong Europe Tank Challenge. The annual event is hailed as a way for troops from around the world to train and strengthen ties, but we’re pretty sure it’s also because tankers' crews (from any country) just love destroying stuff.

Army Times reported that the US Army team was 2nd Battalion, 70th Armor Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division. While they did not place in the overall top three, the US team did win the tank shootout event.
