Producer and Reporter A.J. Janitschek served 20 years in the Air Force, first as a personnel specialist, then as a multimedia journalist — experience that set him up for a professional broadcasting career when he left the military.
A native of New Jersey, his military assignments took him to New Mexico and California, and overseas to Greenland, Korea and Germany.
GI Bill benefits helped fund post-military studies that led to A.J.’s earning both an undergraduate and Master’s degree in business administration… the MBA earned with a 4.0 grade point average.
A.J. and his wife live in the Washington, D.C. area, where — when not doing broadcasting work — he composes guitar music.
