Meet Meg Schweitzer

Meg Schweitzer was born into the military lifestyle.

Her grandfather, father, and uncle all served in the U.S. Army. During her dad’s 21 years of military intelligence and special operations service, Meg and her family moved seven times — living at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Fort Huachuca, Arizona, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Fort Meade, Maryland, Fort Bragg, again, Fort Leavenworth, again, and then returning to Maryland, where Meg studied journalism and communications at Salisbury University.

On graduation, she resettled in Annapolis and embarked on a career in broadcast and digital journalism, working at highly rated radio stations in Maryland and Washington, D.C.

Meg and her husband continue an association with the military community by sponsoring a Midshipman at the U.S. Naval Academy.
